YOUDEVISE EXPANDS TRADE IDEA MONITOR TO BENEFIT TRADITIONAL ASSET MANAGERS

NEW YORK & LONDON, March 22, 2006 – youDevise Limited, a provider of on-demand technology applications for financial markets, today announced a new feature of the Trade Idea Monitor (TIM), called “Themed Portfolios”, designed to expand appeal of the TIM and benefit more traditional asset managers, while creating a new value-added client service and marketing vehicle for sell-side firms.

The TIM, which recently launched in the US and UK, is a powerful, high-speed communication system that enables brokers to send equity trading ideas simultaneously to all of their customers. Using the TIM, customers can also view, filter, rank and track ideas from all their brokers on a single-screen.

The new “Themed Portfolios” feature enables sell-side firms to send trade recommendations as a group of ideas, perhaps reflecting a specific sector theme or strategy of interest, to buy-side recipients and the portfolios they manage. The group of ideas appears on buy-side TIM screens under one title, which would typically include the sell-side firm’s trading symbol and a thematic name. The individual ideas are price- and time-stamped, and integrated with live data, to generate the theoretical value and performance of the entire “Themed Portfolio” on a real-time basis.

Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein is the first sell-side firm to employ the feature and will initially use it to send clients a DrKW branded trade idea list of recommended large cap European equity stocks.

Colin Jowers, Head of Capital Markets, of Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, commented, “With ‘Themed Portfolios,’ our clients can now view ideas not only from their regular individual account managers, but also from the various other sales specialists within our firm who collaborate on idea generation. This new feature increases the reach, and thus the potential usefulness, of our trade ideas.”

“The pre-launch interest in this feature on both the buy- and sell-side has been strong,” said Colin Berthoud, Director of youDevise. “Several other sell-side firms have also licensed the feature and will soon start sending themed collections of ideas, for example, short ideas to meet specific demand from hedge funds.”

Until this point, the TIM has primarily been used to send individual trade ideas to money managers, hedge funds and proprietary trading desks focused on momentum or event-driven transactions.

Themed Portfolios provide a meaningful depth of information, including the type of each transaction (long, sale or short), size, rationale, strategy, and confidence level, and supporting attachments, such as research reports, spreadsheets, news releases or other media. Asset managers can view, filter, track and rank “Themed Portfolios” from multiple brokerage firms, and also drill down to the individual trade ideas.

Because the value of “Themed Portfolios” can be clearly measured, documented and justified, they can help to establish the value of trading commissions under new FSA regulations in the UK and SEC guidelines in the US.
